It's been a while?!!!

Family Picture:

Yes, I know that it has been a while since our last posting. Well to be exact it will have been almost a month since the last update. So with that said there is a lot of ground that we need to cover.

Today is December 19th. I guess that the best way to review the past month is to start back at the first. Our last posting was on 11/20. That posting dealt with a scary situation involving Lynette and the babies. I am glad to report that the very next day everything was just fine and the babies continued to just grow and grow.
November 22nd marded the 9 week mark. What a wonderful Thanksgiving. Lynette and I both had to work so our Thanksgiving was spent together with my family after we had both gotten off of work. Everyone was so excited about seeing the babies. The constant question of when will we find out the sexes was being asked. Mema and Pappi are so excited about the arrival of the two new grandchildren. It is very difficult for them to hold in their joy and excitment.
November 24th:
What another wonderful day!! My Aggies went into Austin and just completely ruined any national championship hopes of those teasips. What a glorious day in Aggieland!!

WHOOP!!!!

Lynette and I had several serious conversations during the weekend of the 25th and 26th. What were we going to do about her job situation. Should she continue to work and just go part time or should she stop working completly at this time. Part of me wanted her to stop completely and part of me wanted her to continue to work (because I worry about her so much when she is at home by herself). Well the decision was made for her to just go part time, and that she would tell her nurse manager on Monday November 27th.
November 27th: Lynette called me on the floor today crying. She had just spoken with her nurse manager, and things did not go well at all. It is not a good situation when someone makes my wife cry because I get very upset about that. Well needless to say I calmed down and Lynette and I made, I think, a very wise decision. Late that afternoon, Lynette went into her nurse manager's office and told her that her last day at work would be December 7th. We are really stepping out in faith here. This has been my desire and wish ever since I could remember that my wife be a stay at home mother. Thank you Lord for opening the doors and giving us the faith to walk through those doors. I almost feel like Peter stepping out of the boat. We just have to keep our eyes on Christ. He will provide, he always has and always will!!!!
December 7th and 9th:
These were big days for myself. No longer do I not have a nursing degree. I am a graduate. In addition to my degree from Texas A&M, I have added a degree from Lubbock Christian University in the field of Nursing. The 7th was the pinning ceremony and the 9th was the graduation ceremony. What a blessing it was to have my family with me, and to graduate with my Uncle during the same ceremony. My education does not stop at this point. I am currently enrolled in the Master's of Nursing program at LCU, and I will begin that journey in January.
December 13th:
December 13th marked the final week of the first trimester. Wow that flew by quick!! Just thought I would share some very important news: TWIN A is a BOY!!! (Whoop!!) I can not believe that I will be a daddy. This is so amazing. Thank you God for your amazing love and design of life. Thank you for my wife, Lynette, and for the two babies that she is carrying. Twin B was being very modest on the last ultrasound so I am starting to believe that Twin B might be a little girl. If so she already has me wrapped around her finger.
I will post pictures of the graduation as soon as I get them from my Sister-in-law. I will post another time today the 19th of December after we go to the Dr. at 2:30.

Twin A:

Twin B:

I want to finish this post by saying a pray:

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for my wife, Lynette, and for the two babies that she is carrying. You have blessed us beyond belief. I pray that you will be with Lynette, that you will protect her and keep her healthy during the pregnancy. Father, be with the two babies that she is carrying. Protect them in Lynette and help them to grow strong and healthy. Father, we know that children are a gift from you, and I pray that you will help Lynette and I to continuily turn over our lives and their lives to you. Lord, we give these children to you and pray that they will wish to follow you throughout their lives. Help me to be the Father and Spiritual leader that you have called me to be so that my wife and children may see your love of them through me. Thank you Father for families and friends that love and care for all of us. I pray that you will bless each and everyone. Father thank you again for our two babies, and for my wife, Lynette.
I Love You!!
Amen
