Great Pictures by Memoree
My good friend Memoree Barrett is beginning a journey to become a photographer, and she asked if she could take some pictures of the girls. So we went over and let her take as many as she wanted. Three years ago today Shawn and I were married on the beach in Cozumel Mexico. It was so beautiful it seems unreal. All of our family was there. Devon was watching from Heaven. In the past three years we have done a few things I will run through it quickly.(Thanks Lisa for the idea!) After we were married we scuba dove Belize and Cancun. Just breath taking the world under the ocean that God created that not many ever see! We built our house, moved in and began to make it a home. We started this journey together and with God as the center of our family, determined to grow closer to him and together. We traveled to D.C. to visit Lisa and Jesse, made our first run as teachers at Camp Evergreen, and also went scuba diving for a week in Jamaica. We began our journey to try to have a baby. A year of infertility treatments and one round of IVF and WOW TWINS!!!! We lived a month in the hospital trying to not have these babies too soon. Then we spent another month living at the NICU. And finally we spent 2 months living with my Daddy and Mama for help once the babies came home. I cannot say enough thanks to our family for all of the support we have had. I continue to cope and struggle with having lost Devon, and Shawn continues to amaze me with his support. God placed Shawn in my life 4 years ago, and i cannot thank Him enough for doing it. God knows all things, He knows why everything happens, He knows He will comfort me to get through, He knew He would give me 2 precious new babies, and allow Devon to play with them before they got to me. He knew Shawn was perfect for me. He has carried me to today, and will continue to carry me forever. I am a different person because of what God has done with me. I just pray it has made me a better wife for Shawn, and a better Mommy for the girls. I love you Shawn and cannot wait to go on the journeys that God has in store for us for the rest of our lives!! Happy Anniversary!!!

Very Mobile
Well we have been just running all over the place. Ella has caught up with Madelyn on crawling and pulling up to stand. They both are walking all around things. I just know that they will let go any day now. Ella has gotten both of the bottom front teeth. Madelyn has them as well, and Madelyn has began the understanding of using them to bite . She will grab Ella's hand and work so hard to get it in her mouth as Ella is trying to get it away from her. They are really beginning to play with each other, babble to one another. Really cute. Ella can say baby, puppy, peek-a-boo, and burp. Madelyn can yell really loud and say dada and buah(what ever that means, but she means business when she says it!) We have decided that Ella has the rhythm she can move when there is music, Madelyn just shakes her head. too cute. In these pictures Ella will close her eyes when I aim the camera at her, so again we have all of her pictures with her eyes closed. And as you can see Madelyn is beginning to climb, What am I in store for next???? Thank you so much God for these wonderful blessings in my life!!!
