Finished patio

I decided one day that I wanted to stain out patio and front porch. I did a lot of research and studding of how to do it. Lots of things that I found said to hire someone to do it. I knew that I could do it on my own. Shawn said to go for it, so about 2 weeks ago I started. And after really learning as I went and getting sick when we ere nearly complete. It is all finished. So I am posting pictures. I think that it looks great. Considering it was my first time ever to deal with acid staining and scoring concrete. I feel a pro could not have done a better job.......
I am also posting some of my plants and flowers. The rose tree that is about to bloom I have had to work very hard with but it is looking great. I think that it is finally catching up to Lisa's. The other rose tree on the ground we have had for 2 years now it looks really good. And the mini roses are blooming and looking so beautiful. Lisa and I started with new roses this year. I think that we are both doing a wonderful job with them. I also have tons of flowers in the backyard and I will post all of them when we get the patio all put back together. I really love flowers. They make me smile!!!

Happy Birthday

On May 5, 2007 we had 2 beautiful babies 3lbs 3oz each. Spent a month in NICU. Slowly started growing. as the year went on we continued to slowly gain weight and meet those milestones. On May 5, 2008 we celebrated a 1 year birthday for these babies. now at about 18 lbs and trying to walk, and talk. It has been an amazing year. and i look forward to the next year. Who knows what God has in store for us. I thank God so much for the miracle of these babies. God truly knows what we need. God leads us in happy and sad times...
