Three years ago today Shawn and I were married on the beach in Cozumel Mexico. It was so beautiful it seems unreal. All of our family was there. Devon was watching from Heaven. In the past three years we have done a few things I will run through it quickly.(Thanks Lisa for the idea!) After we were married we scuba dove Belize and Cancun. Just breath taking the world under the ocean that God created that not many ever see! We built our house, moved in and began to make it a home. We started this journey together and with God as the center of our family, determined to grow closer to him and together. We traveled to D.C. to visit Lisa and Jesse, made our first run as teachers at Camp Evergreen, and also went scuba diving for a week in Jamaica. We began our journey to try to have a baby. A year of infertility treatments and one round of IVF and WOW TWINS!!!! We lived a month in the hospital trying to not have these babies too soon. Then we spent another month living at the NICU. And finally we spent 2 months living with my Daddy and Mama for help once the babies came home. I cannot say enough thanks to our family for all of the support we have had. I continue to cope and struggle with having lost Devon, and Shawn continues to amaze me with his support. God placed Shawn in my life 4 years ago, and i cannot thank Him enough for doing it. God knows all things, He knows why everything happens, He knows He will comfort me to get through, He knew He would give me 2 precious new babies, and allow Devon to play with them before they got to me. He knew Shawn was perfect for me. He has carried me to today, and will continue to carry me forever. I am a different person because of what God has done with me. I just pray it has made me a better wife for Shawn, and a better Mommy for the girls. I love you Shawn and cannot wait to go on the journeys that God has in store for us for the rest of our lives!! Happy Anniversary!!!
